1st Clanfield (Victory) Scout Troop.

Code of conduct

The 1st Clanfield (Victory) Troop held a forum on Sunday 4th November 2012 during the Autumn Camp at South Harting. During the forum the Troop Code of Conduct was discussed. It was decided that a scout needs no more than to obey the Scout Law and Promise:

1.  A Scout is to be trusted.

2.  A Scout is loyal.

3.  A Scout is friendly and considerate.

4.  A Scout belongs to the world-wide family of Scouts.

5.  A Scout has courage in all difficulties.

6.  A Scout makes good use of time and is careful of possessions and property.

7.  A Scout has self-respect and respect for others.

The Scout Promise
(for Scouts, Explorer Scouts, the Scout Network and adults)

On my honour,
I promise that I will do my best
to do my duty to God and to The Queen,
to help other people
and to keep the Scout Law.

If a scout lives to the Law and Promise the Troop will be a safe and happy place, all scouts should think about their behaviour and what they say at all times and ask themselves; “Do I live up to my promise?”
